New Years’ excursion in Sumadija!
Three offices at three locations, hm… we must meet at a fourth one.
As the year draws to a close, we decided to celebrate this moment. Simply drinking and eating is not our „cup of tea “ so we decided to get more familiar with beauty and history of this famous area.
We commenced in Topola.
Great guided tour through magnificent mausoleum of Karadjordjevic’s dynasty, followed by a visit to the house of King Petar I, and then further back in history to beginning of 19th century, visiting the city built by Karadjordje Petrovic, leader of the First Serbian Uprising.
Having the New Year at our doorstep, we had to open a door to a festive season. The best place to start is King’s Winery!
Besides wine tasting and a walkthrough the winery, we’ve learnt something about wine making and keeping, history of the winery and definitely enjoyed in fabulous day and landscapes of Sumadija.
And, finally, what would be the celebration without festive lunch, extended to a dinner… Its Saturday tomorrow, good planning!
